2009 Recap

This years club and regatta racing is over, but another
season starts in January, out of Old Hickory. This
season I crewed weekly, mostly out of Hamilton Creek
Marina, on the fleet of S2 7.9s, and on a B25. The
races are a healthy mix with quite a few North-Stars,
Catalina 22s, and J-22s.
I was fortunate to crew for a few of the out-of-state races as well, including a very interesting regatta on the Ohio River, just outside Louisville.
"Itch" is a fast S2 with a sound Skipper. She is shown here just rounding the offset. I am on foredeck and am about to jump the chute if I can unstick myself from the rail.

"Synergy" is a rocket-ship of a B-25 with an owner-designed keel-bulb, shown here putting in for a regatta at Kentucky Lake's Lighthouse Landing.
