Hull #2, 15' x 29", Nonpariel Pirogue with watertight compartments is complete and launched in August, 2009.


Hull #1, 15' x 29", Nonpariel Pirogue in Pacific-Island Motif is complete and launched in May, 2009.

Foot on the Sea was born from the idea that a boat should be a fine-tuned instrument as well as a work of beauty. My inspiration comes from the spirit of exploration and adventure that spurred the likes of Moitessier, Heyerdahl, Slocum, Wharram, Kruger, and the untold others who have chosen to put the sea beneath their feet. My focus is on boat types that can revive the contact between us and the natural world both in their construction and use.
